Lake Powell is a reservoir created by the Glen Canyon Dam and the Colorado River. Lake Powell is a part of the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, a popular summer vacation destination. Like Lake Mead and Lake Havasu, Lake Powell is a Mecca for water sports enthusiasts from around the United States. The Wahweap Marina on Lake Powell is located approximately five and a half miles from the Visitor Center on Lakeshore Drive. The Wahweap Marina offers a wide variety of services and boat rentals. The services include boat rentals, slips repairs and tours of Lake Powell. The Marina also features a campground, restaurants, and lodging.

The Antelope Point Marina on Lake Powell is located approximately five miles from Glen Canyon Dam and road access is via Highway 98. The marina has a public launch ramp, slip rental, boat repair, dump station and provides boat rentals. The marina also rents wakeboards and fishing equipment in addition to the boat rentals. The custom house boat rentals feature the 75’ Silver XT Luxury Houseboat with all of the features one would expect of a high end houseboat. Visitors to Antelope Point Marina may also dine at Marina Village a full service restaurant on the water.

The Dangling Rope Marina services are provided by the National Park Service. The services include restrooms, emergency communications and free boat pump-out facilities. The only way to get to Dangling Rope Marina is by water and there are limited commercial services offered such as boat fuel and basic boat repairs.

The Halls Crossing Marina has a boater contact station that is maintained by the National Park Service during the summer. The Marina is located across the lake from the Bullfrog Marina approximately 95 miles from Glen Canyon Dam. The National Park Service also offers a launch ramp and free boat pump facilities. There are also commercial services available with two campgrounds, laundry, showers and a grocery store. There is also a ferry service that runs back and fourth from the Halls Crossing Marina to the Bullfrog Marina. The ferry can carry cars, trucks and RV’s and is fee based.

The Bullfrog Marina has a wide variety of services and rentals available. There are also free boat pump facilities, a portable toilet dump station and launch ramp provided by the National Park Service. The commercial visitor services include two campgrounds, laundry and showers. There are also boat rentals and boat tours available for visitors.
